Bird Hike Report

It was a hot morning! We met in the curling club parking at 7am just as the market was setting up across the street. There were a lot of birds today despite the heat. We walked towards the park, throughout the park then along the train tracks parallel to the 215 towards Knowlton. The park was full of Grackles! We got a very close and excellent view of a pair of rose breasted grosbeaks! I would say that this was the highlight. Also, the high number of species was a treat!
