18 Jun Birding Hike at the PENS
We had a pleasant hike this morning in the PENS trails on a very foggy morning. The fog made it more difficult to locate birds by sound, giving the impression that the sound was coming from all around! I want to thank everyone who participated in this series of outings and a special thanks to Catherine for her photos.
These are the birds that we observed:
- Hairy Woodpecker
- Red-eyed Vireo
- American Crow
- Black-capped Chickadee
- Winter Wren
- Hermit Thrush
- American Robin
- American Goldfinch
- Dark-eyed Junco
- Song Sparrow
- Ovenbird
- Black-throated Green Warbler
